The membership officer will require personal information of members to provide the service that is expected by both members and clients of Immortals, as well as to maintain our duty of care.

All personal information will be stored securely.

If you are a member or an ex-member of Immortals and you want to enquire about, or update, your personal data, you should contact a member of the committee.

Sharing Information

Your personal information will not be revealed to anyone outside the society, unless required to do so by law, and will require full justification before releasing information to anyone within the society. All data transfer within the society will be secure.

Members have the right to access a copy of the information that Immortals holds about them from the committee, subject to proof of identity.

Communication

Immortals uses personal information to contact members once a year to arrange renewal and confirm information held is still present and correct. The society does not otherwise directly contact all members.

Access to the Facebook page is granted upon receiving membership.

Images and photographs

Immortals reserves the Intellectual Property rights of its members. Professional photographers wanting to take photographs of our members or activities at events will need to request prior authorisation. This is usually given on the understanding that images are freely provided to Immortals and its members.

Images provided to Immortals for our use and publication remain the copyright of the owner but the owner grants a licence to Immortals in perpetuity to publish, retain and grant licence to them providing this is lawful and within current regulations.

Photographs of identifiable minors must have parental consent supplied before they can be accepted. Any photograph of an identifiable minor retained by Immortals can be requested to be removed from the records.

Contact via the website

Immortals is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. If you provide us with your name, email address or other details it will only be used by Immortals for the purpose of acting upon your inquiry, comment or the information you provide. It will not be shared with third party organisations. A record may be kept of your inquiry, suggestion or comment and used to make improvements to our society and the service that we provide.

The website and its content are copyright of Immortals or licensed for use by Immortals unless stated otherwise. Any reproduction or redistribution of content is not allowed other than as follows:
